Either way, strong presentation skills are not just “nice to have”. They shape how your ideas travel, how you influence decisions, and how visible you become early in your career.

This session is designed for NGENers who want to communicate with confidence, whether that’s structuring a compelling message, speaking up in meetings, or persuading an audience to buy your idea.

Understanding your audience is where we’ll begin. Why should they care? What’s in it for them?

From there, we’ll focus on structure, finding the through-line of your message, sharpening key points, and closing in a way that’s intentional and memorable.

Delivery brings it all to life. Voice, body language and presence are all tools for transferring energy, building trust, and holding attention, in both face to face and virtual settings.

This is a highly interactive session. You’ll design and deliver a short presentation in small groups around a topic that matters to you. Come prepared with an idea you care about, or use a prompt provided on the day.
