Having a healthy work/life balance is crucial for all employees to ensure that they are in a good position to complete work duties to their full potential and don’t experience career burnout. A healthy work/life balance helps encourage better work relationships, longer retention at your workplace and provides constant motivation for employees.

In this session (aimed at all NGENers) we’ll focus on the psychology behind work/life balance, the impacts of career burnout and resources available in the workplace. You will also see how an established media personality, Hamish Blake manages his work/life balance and the challenges he faced during the early stages of his media career.

During this session NGENers will understand why having a healthy work/life balance is so important. They will gain tips, tricks and techniques for managing stress and will be informed of what resources are available within their workplace in to alleviate pressures.
