NGEN Category Launch | Melbourne

Thu 13 Jun

10:15AM - 10:45AM

This year the NGEN award will recognise excellence in strategic thinking, creativity, storytelling and media execution expertise. The 2019 NGEN brief is for the charity ‘BackTrack’ with all entry fees being donated following the Awards.

BackTrack is a not-for-profit outfit that works with kids (aged mostly between 12-18) who are having a hard time, and who would otherwise fall through the cracks. The juvenile justice system is a trap, 78% of kids who have been in jail will go back to jail and BackTrack is often their last resort for claiming and living a decent, happy life.” We are on a mission to help as many young folk having a hard time as possible.”

To answer any questions any keen NGENers may have an MFA 5+ committee member along with BackTrack will be hosting an NGEN Awards session in Melbourne next week.

So grab a team mate, or go solo to be in with the chance to be the next NGEN award recipient at this years' MFA Awards.

The detailed brief will be available from Thursday 13th June and can be downloaded from the MFA website;
Entries will be open to registered members of NGEN with less than 5 years’ experience. Entrants must also currently work for a media communications agency or media industry supplier.
